Just a thought - how about not pitching this primarily as a "protest" as such - but more of a "meeting" to discuss the issues - that way the regularity it justified, and there is a feedback loop - we could use this to gather the thoughts of other bikers who might not be part of the kb community.

As for scooters, there are about 25 million (slight exaggeration, but hey this is all about dodgy numbers) around the CBD - we'll just make the flyer scooter-inclusive (like "no motorway riding involved - bring yer moped!")

I want this to be a protest, but will be driving a clear message to Joe Public about what is going on here. This poxy government are using some fairly transparent tactics to quietly screw the population while they are diverted by a bunch of noisey bikers. Educating the wider population is paramount, I hope as they realise what is going on they join us in letting Minister Myth know that he can not, and will not be allowed to privatise ACC, turn it into an insurance scheme and sell it off!

Using the Kiss pricipal here and saving on paper

Great for actually putting on car windscreens at the protest venue, can you do a few?

Sorry Mom, I have had three days off this week for the Wgtn protest. I have a ton of work I must catch up on today and tomorrow and three reports to edit and reproduce on Saturday. I will make the event but doubt I will have the time to prep any banners for this one. Maybe the next one?
S'right. I completely understand. I am a bit pushed myself, but will come up with some pithy one liners that can be painted on palcards. Bring things to make noise too you lot, I want to make a HUGE noise down there on Sunday

Yep already printed 40 sheets = 80 flyers, will 'guillotine' them and bring along. Cant really print any more or the photocopyer police will get me so if any one else can print some that would be great.

That was my thoughts, to stick on windscreens and give to drivers cruising around attempting to find a parking space. It lets them know whats going on.

Edit do we still have the 'battle flag'?

Right I'm in. Got back from Wellington yesterday, and yes there is more to be done.
I am contacting Far North Ulysses to see if they would change their Sunday ride to join ya in Browns (oops, my bad) Mission Bay. It would be lunch time before they could join.
OK just been talking with the Pressie, and he tells me it is too late to change run at this stage. Will ring around and see if anyone up here is interested anyway.
