REPSOL CBR250RR - Just picked up a mint one!

    Very happy!
Picked it up on the 23rd and I've never been so scared in my riding experience thus far.

    It's my Third bike, First being a totally knackered '90 ZXR250, Then a 2008 Sach's MADASS 125, then this!

It's a CBR250RR MC22, 1990, 32000 km, Repsol Race colours with a short exhaust thing (I'm sure these have thier own name? apart from fart cannon:P).
Best of all, it has no accident damage what-so-ever, Clean history and a totally mint engine/gearbox. I'm sure it has aftermarket headers on it too!

Loving it. Port Hills here I come

No. Repsol weren't name sponsors for Honda in 1990. Rothmans were.

It's been resprayed in those colours. The decals are readily available from a number of sources. SOmeone has done a nice job though.

The official race livery until about 97 was this:

One of the more excellent bodywork updates for your bike is from Tyga Performance. RC211V styled bodywork looks great in Repsol colours too.

You were lucky to get such a good deal on that. Those bikes sell for over $7,000 sometimes.

Having a paint job like that I'd be very surprised if it hasn't been down. Nice bike though!

Ahaha you hooned past me in Waltham a few hours ago, going toward Wilsons Rd!

I was on the Pepsi 2 stroke heading toward town.

Well at least you're riding it fairly hard. Was loud enough!

    Good effort.

*Drools...... Love the Rothmans colours. May be tempted to do that to my MC28 one day. Nice MC22 too. Just sold mine a few weeks ago. Awesome bikes.
