    600cc Hornet. Nice bike?

    looking at a 1999 cb hornet atm
    its in auckland
    i know honda inline 4 600's are pretty reliable but how reliable?
    86'000 kms
    barley run in or stay away from such a number?

    If its well looked after, barley run in. After you replace the cam chain and what not expect another 80,000 km.
    If its been raped, and not looked after, stay away!

    Got a link or piccy of the afore said beasty? If it has been well maintained, oil change/filter, etc. and ridden consistently, it'd be just settling in just fine by now! Just remember to check to see it ain't a Friday arvo built one

    no way you can know for sure how its been treated its whloe life, you can only by averages.

    fuck its just a baby man!! my cbr 600 (pretty close to the donk in that thing Id say) is starting to get close to 140,000km, and just a few months ago, it pissed on a later model 600 yammy, fresh from a rebuild down the quarter, :P

    seriously though, at those kms, meh. just make sure you put a manuall cct if it doesnt already have one (and itll take one) and youre good to go. it the one you showed me?
