the KLR is growing a few cobwebs but I did take it on the RRRR and it will be going on Mark's king country ride
I'm finding most gravel roads a bit ho-hum at the moment and the DT is perfect for rides like today.
We (Clint Rosy Roger Andy Mark Bruce Eugene and me) had a great day
Hope everyone got home OK.

2 Eugene on Odlins Rd

4 Bruce & Mark relaxing
5 Symphony in blue - Yamaha DT, TTR, WRR
A great ride thanks guys! The combination of bush tracks through the Maungatuks & then the twisty tar of the Akatarawa Rd is what I love about adv riding.
Cheers
Clint
A great day thanks Mark, i would say the riding was as good as the previous day.
Got back the the Tron at 11.00 pm last night, a tad jaded.
Eugene .... i hope that hand /wrist is not too sore.![]()

Yep it was a great ride. Many thanks to Mark for organising it. I will certainly be back to go up Odlins rd, and explore some of the side tracks.
I got home about 4pm this afternoon. After I left you guys, I went through north range rd, then carried on and stayed in Taihape. This morning I did fisher track in pretty driving rain. Still good however. I figured it was down hill, and was on knobblys, so what the heck. Considered doing the 42nd as well, but given the rain it did not seem like the smartest idea, so I just headed home.
Thanks again Mark, Andy and co. Much appreciated. Hope I can return the favor some time.
No problem, riding with visitors made me appreciate how beautiful the bush is. Normally I'm concentrating on just the track surface wondering when it will spit me off! And here's the movie!

I'm glad you werent there with your camera in the single track when I had to get down on my knees and beg Bruce for some petrol.
