Intruder maintenance help in Upper Hutt/ Hutt Valley?

I ride a 1400 suzuki intruder - Im really keen to get into some DIY maintenance, carb synch etc(mine needs doing).

Im reasonably handy DIY wise, but little experience on the bike maintenance. Any keen owners who would like to give me some hints?

I've got a manual and a shit load of tools, but a bit worried about things going wrong it I get stuck.

I'll supply the beers and BBQ.....

love to help you out mate as i,ve got the Intruder 04 {wifes bike} plus the Boulevard {mine} same bike i know, but i get my work done by my mechanic.If you get stuck try Intruder Alert Cafe.The guys on there will help out if you need it.Cheers.

Talk to magicmonkey - I'm lending him / helping him (still to be decided) balance the carbs on his bike. Set up a time and we could park up in our shed and give it a lash together. Coupla beers and some bad music - why not... Hell - if we screw up I'll drive ya home ;-)
