Hard to say, if it was local and the gear fitted yeah most likely but being out of town and not able to try on etc - no. Would have had $3000 to go play with ..... holiday woudl have been nice. The convience of being able to try all the gear on etc really wasn't worth that 3k, oh I could have gone shopping for dresses. But hey I got a brand spanking shine new bike, leathers that are all mine and i'm happy with that (though I'd love some new dresses)

What about just the bike for $7k?

maybe as today a brand new one is $8495.00, that is $1500 less and only done 5k on the clock, not bad. Warranty has run out though, but what exactly does that mean, that after 2 years bike will shit itself, that's a risk with brand new.

the overpriced ninja may have been bought in november or december of 2008, then it would still have 9-10 months of warranty left. for example my 09 ninja was bought in late october 09. so thats nearly half the warranty left. however i bought new because i took my entire family on a 3 hour round car trip to matamata to look at a second hand ninja 08 black, only to be told the truth right at buying time, when I asked for them to give the rego so my insurance could check it out, and it had been written off and repaired!!!!.
