they are boys they always think all the women love them, they need it for their whole ego-trip-man-thing they on. Don't not go on hte ride because a man said something foolish....hell, everytime they open their mouths foolishness utters forth. Friend of mine in sales, her husband remarked one morning he knew she was out to get her quoto up, she wore a cleavage showing top, it works, they dumbfounded by bobbies!!!!

Not in my experience...

With 3 females in the family, wife and two daughters, I can categorically say that moobies are a turn-off.

I guess I really appreciate that she wuvs me for lots of other reasons...

Sad fact is, men tend to need lots of reassurance and there are some who don't think before they speak.

I always just thought that guys who talk about their wives and kids a lot just thought their wives and kids were great (and I in turn just thought they had nothing better to talk about than their wives and kids.... like I'm supposed to be remotely interested, unless I asked of course). Hey Ratti.

Sorry to hear about this. I truely hope it doesn't put you off the group rides, as I was hoping to see you at tomorrow ride out to the coast. It's a lovely ride, and a pretty supportive group.

It seems that a few men may mean this in different ways. I know that a lot of guys I have met on these ride have mentioned their parters and families, but in a very loving way, and how much they appreciate the fact that they let them have some time out to go riding.

Don't let the comment get you down. The rides should be about the riding - that's exactly why I go as I just can't seem to get enough of being on my bike. And I get a real buzz riding in a group of people, who are there for the same reason.

Pleased you had a good ride on Sunday - sorry I couldn't make it, will try harder next time.

So, see you tomorrow hopefully? Me and Christy will be there to talk to and keep you saine

Does sound odd tho. Not knowing the context of the conversation maks it harder to understand.

What you need is some real good comeback lines to hit Mr Ego with then turn around and walk away. IME, these 'men' are best ignored or just laugh at them along with a clever quip...

One thing is for sure, don't let it get to you! It's not about you, but more about him, I reckon.

Strong, single females are attractive. Makes no difference what they look like they exude a charisma that is hard to not be drawn towards. Gauche springs to mind if a bloke/s on a ride felt the need to say what was said.
