    VTR1000F Firestorm user manual wanted

    Hi all
I have been trying to find a VTR1000F Firestorm (pref 1997) USER manual (note: not the service manual - I have that). Preferably in downloadable format.

I dont want to repair or service my bike- I want to find out how to adjust the suspension back and front, and what tools are required. Unfortunately my bike did not come with a manual.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers
    Mike

I downloaded a manual for a VTR 1000 a couple of yeras ago from www.carlsalter.com . I have just tried this site but access is restricted as I am at work at the moment. I have sold my vtr now and may still have the manual on disc. Try this site and if you don't have any luck pm me your address and I will be glad to send you my copy if I still have it.

Hi thanks for that - but I already have that service manual. I was looking instead for a user/operation manual (since I dont know how to operate the adjustable suspension or what tools are required - my bike came with nothing other than a few drops of petrol...).

Do you have any idea where I can find this kind of manual?

    Try www.ozfirestorm.com.au
Tis is an australian forum dedicated to the VTR1000. There is some really good info and knowledgeable guys there. You should find plenty of suspension info for the vtr there.

I have the user manual that came with the bike, in good nick to.
And the workshop manual on CD.
