or do these kits require drilling the visor? cos thats not easy.

They do require drilling but its nots not rocket science to get it right with the right tools.

Its not rocket science to avoid double posts, or to delete one

Its a forum problem apparently to do with using the quick reply box although I thought it had been sorted.

If you use a small sharp drill bit and dont drill to fast or use to much pressure it wont crack.

Drilling plastic sucessfully is a bit easier if you use a 'zero angle' sharpened drill.
Google it or something, I'm too lazy to post a pic or explain myself

    That is all

Fark theres some hard core bikers down south ...... The other sunday I pulled in to bp fairlie to top up on diesel , just as sun coming up , dash gauge said it was -6 outside, as I got out a local rode in on a old xr250, piss bowl helmet, gumboots and a parka ( with frost on front) and went in to buy some smokes. I said to him 'geez mate bit cold this morning, when he came out , had a brief chat, apparently he rides the bike, every day to work on a farm towards burkes pass, rain , hail and snow . Tougher than me that for sure

I have been out in some pretty cold weather ( try 5am in winter), but I just don't think my body would take it everyday! it would be 'kill or cure'. i am crazy enough to try it a few times, but just bear in mind what happened to the shortest serving US president (I forget his name): trying to make himself look like a tough guy, for his inaugural speech, he stood outside in the cold for one hour (or however long it was) talking about what he would do in office. without a coat on. he died of pneumonia a few weeks later.

(Spuds: yes I had problems with double posting too. I only pressed the button once! hope this post behaves itself)
    I can haz twisties!

I thought about it today, but decided to flag it in favour of shopping for eurojunk for the boy to drive. On the way the rain on the windscreen told me I'd made the right call.

I still claim that I'm not soft though, I motorcycled (and scootered) to work this week, 3 days and 3 different bikes

Well the weather is looking OK for Saturday.

Just want to do a shortish ride, my arm gives me the message at the moment that it will only tolerate a wee run.

Short run sounds good, if it's short enough I might bring the scooter for a change depending on if mrs wants to come along for a ride, I sure as hell aren't riding it 2 up.
