Mr Berg had his surgery today. All went well, with no unexpected complications (he has some difficulty with swallowing and some hoarseness - keeps him quiet tho!). The surgery hasn't resolved all the outstanding issues, but thankfully, hasn't caused him to go backwards. Will put another update on tomorrow.

very early days.i am sure that as the surgery itself heals the situation will improve markedly!All the best to the Bergs!

I'm home finally but feeling like I've been hit by a bus. As Mrs Berg said, the operation went all good with no complications. I haven't had any miracle cures to some of the issues I was having but hopefully I can now start to mend properly. It will be nice to have a sleep without nurses waking me every two hours to check bloods etc although saying that they do a fantastic job.
Can't wait to start riding again but I know it will be a bit before I'm allowed.
