    Raglan ride, 16th May

Who's in for a ride to Raglan, Kawhia and the surrounding area on Sunday the 16th?

Leaving the Autobahn, Papakura at 08.30 (thats in the morning), Raglan for a coffee, round the mountain to Kawhia for lunch, then a beer at Raglan in the avo.

Maybe pick up any Hamiltonians on the way (Limestone downs?)

Mostly gravel with a flounder in the farmers stream at Bridal Veil falls if it's practical and I promise not to blow up anything at home that prevents me coming this time (fingers crossed).

would the ride be suitable for an absolute NOOB? (on dirt/gravel that is).

I have had my DR for 5 days now.

The first gravel ride I did was on a DR to Raglan so yes, it certainly is, I would suggest some practice first if you have the time.
There are plenty of options to shortcut the ride if you find you have had enough but generally the roads are hard packed and in good confdition with the rally having just been through and you will be fine. It would be good to meet you and being an opinionated bunch I'm sure you will be told what to do .........

There is an outside chance. I suspect work & the war office will conspire against me.
