meh, where else would you put it? unless it can be straightened to be readable from the back then id keep it where it is. and if a copper did say anything then just play the innocent card. it's what I would do... not sure how legal my thoughts are though
You can read it from behind, tested sitting in my commodore and from that height it is easy to read (now that I cleaned the plate) but up close and from higher it becomes difficult to read....
IMO you don't have a hope in ehell of getting away without being pulled over.
Somewhere on here is a thread of a similar one that he was contesting in court - don't know the result.
Mine is a very similar set-up. I've had it on for 6 months, not been pulled up yet.
I read the rule as 'clearly visible from behind'.. And i did a similar test.. I can read it. not my fault if copper forgot his glasses!

perhaps someone would like to do some tests on the optimal angle to avoid getting ticketed by stationarys (which tend to sit a fair bit higher than your average cops head) and also avoid unfriendly attention from the flesh & blood ticketing machines.
