I just got back from the States, I could not get over the dickheads riding around with just a back protector and helmet, nothing else!! No gloves, boots jacket pants, and on closer inspection chicken strips the size of the southern motorway! Yes it was warm, but not so warm as not to have the right gear on, fuck the cops must scrape some shit off the roads over there. Nevada was worse, with many not wearing helmets, asit is not illegal inthis state. Iwas gobbed smacked. Well thats the yanks for you! each to thre own I suppose.

Good on them too. Obviously with big chicken strips they are riding sensibly and are comfortable with their level of risk. Leave them be. Just because some have to get to the edge of the tyres on the morning commute here doesn't mean every one rides so immaturely.

That was my first thought... I mean, the idea itself isn't completely off the charts... loud/quiet at the flick of a button has its merits... but why ruin the bike to do that?!?! And mounting the actuator on something that moves... I mean COME ON!!!

It reminds me of the mods my ex made to the exhaust on my old Bros. It sounded heaps better, but the welding job wasn't pretty...

My son made an additional modification by dropping a plastic clothes peg down the pipe...when I was selling it and the new owner was just about to ride away!

reckon that'll be the first point of ground contact now when cornering? (not that squids generally achieve much angle), also wtf is wrong with a straight through can? is gixxer 6 so wont be that loud unless you're thrashing it. Right on the collector bad idea, mounting the actuator to a moving part also bad idea.

Its worth taking the time to read the posts underneath and savour the amount of stupidity in support of his butchery.

right you are, and I learnt a new word, thudfuckery! I have little idea what it means, but it sounds like its got a good mixture of offensiveness and versatility.
