Skachill Racing is off to Australia!

    Hey all!

I'm excited to announce that Skachill Racing is off to Australia for the 2010 MotoGP support race. This is an awesome opportunity for myself to gain experience at a top level of international road racing and I am so excited about making the most of this amazing opportunity!

The whole trip was bought around by Chris Osborne of Ozzy Performance suggesting that we make the trip. A bike was sourced and it was all go. Being my first ever trip outside of the country and biggest race event yet, I am little bit anxious but can't wait to get there.

Once again I have been astounded by the support of the motorcycling fraternity in New Zealand and the amount of support I have received from numerous people is really amazing and greatly appreciated. Any help is greatly appreciated and does not go unnoticed.

    This trip would not be possible with out the supreme generousity of the following companies, organisations and people;

    • Chris Osborne of Ozzy Performance
    Victoria Motorcycle Club
    Museum Hotel Wellington
    Nudemetalz Ltd
    Ripe Coffee
    Shaun Harris, Motodynamix

    • Kevin Waugh
    • James and Jill Parr
    • Andrew and Leigh Presant
    • Nigel And Trudie Manning

No doubt as time goes on there will be even more people on that list!

We are currently fundraising to cover some of the remaining cost, mainly being the tyre bill for the event and to achieve this we have a raffle for some pretty awesome prizes.

    Up for grabs is:

    • Night for two at Wellington's Museum Hotel
    • Custom CNC machined Ducati 1198 Clock by Nudemetalz
    • Ripe Coffee prize pool for all the coffee junkies out there.
    • Remote Controlled Helicopter, not just for the kids either!

Check the www.skachillracing.co.nz website for the pictures of these awesome prizes.

Remember, you have to be into win!

If you are interested in purchasing a ticket for the raffle please don't hesitate to email me at: G.Skachill@gmail.com

Also, keep an eye out on www.skachillracing.co.nz for any updates and the results of the draw!

    Cheers,

    -Glen "Sketchy" Skachill

Top effort for all involved in this initiative, hopefully Sketchy we can look back on this as a new wave of talent (not forgetting Choppa & Nick) that get's to remind the world that theres plenty of speed left down here in NZ.

    And still to come.

It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever
