    Cindi goes to the Cape!

Well today, managed to get Cindi out to the Cape and do the usual photo clicky thing. The weather was quite changeable. Cloud cover was really low and patches of sun managed to make some of my photos look passable.

Hardly anyone around - so was quite easy to scoot Cindi down to the lighthouse for these shots! Have also got some more guff on my blog here : http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/en...the-Cape!-Ooer!

You keep amazing me Justin....I remember when you were a young new rider and went for binning practise with The_Dover.

And years later here you still are with a Fleet of bikes and 100,000's kms climbing under your belt.

Well done ! ! When I get my Licence back I must make it up to the Cape myself for the 1st time..

The kicker is ... (I think Gremlin mentioned it in his blog) ... they have sounds of birds on a looped track! It's right where the gate way is in the first picture shot.

When I first heard it ... I was

And as mentioned in my blog, the whole road is now sealed. End of an era. Any Tom, Dick, George and Jane can now fumble their way to the Cape without worrying about gravel driving/riding skills!

I experienced a moment of mayhem when a plonker in his car, drifted right over into my lane. Quick alteration to my line saw me safely by, I guess if there was gravel - I wouldn't be relating this anecdote now?
