I've seen some on DRZ & thoinking maybe of getting one but not sure if that slidey feeling is the norm for them or if it was moving around on the seat.
It's a generic type, "small cruiser" is the model I got. MrsJ used it a bit and seemed to find it alright once we had the air level set proper.
Transalper seems to like them, but he would, the WR needs something although talking to him on Saturday he would like to try the "small pillion" model as it's a bit smaller
    I got mine from here >> http://shop.peterstevens.com.au/pl.php
Your more than welcome to borrow it and give it a try, see how it fits.

    Labour weekend... getting high

Due to the lack of interest in riding motorbikes by some of the other N.A.D.S. I decided to head out by m'self over Labour weekend.
Due to the forcast looking shit on the West coast I shot down the East

    Cracker day !!

Got through Chch o.k. then onto Geraldine/Fairlie..... still a nice day so I carried on

And here's a couple for the adv purists who like to see some gravel.....
Shot up the top of McKenzie pass but there was no sign there so this'll have to do...

    Then over the Haka

The wind was kind of strong so I didn't hang about.

After a night at the DB/Speights pub in Kurow I wobbled my way over Danseys pass

    At the top...

then carried on through some towns and over the Haast pass

Almost had to put my rain suit on here but the sight of my pulling it out of the bag scared the rain clouds away Then it was just a quick trip up the coast to Greymouth without getting a ticket
After a night at the Duke backpackers I decided to shoot over Arthurs pass to catch up with JMJ in Rangiora. The wet stuff mostly stayed away so I didn't bother with the rain suit.

Everything was great 'till I got to Porters pass

Here's some other people heading home from the street races in Greymouth

Rode down through Oxford to Rangiora where it was hosing down ....Brrrrrr
AFter a cuppa and catch up I donned the "suit" for the first time and made my way home over the Lewis

Thats about it.... I had fun and covered a little over 2000k's and the bike is ready for a service.
And here's what I got to ride around on for a couple of days while the Beemer was getting some luvin

I quite liked it, sounded very nice and went quite well too

Copied and pasted your germanish words into Google.

("This image is enchantingly lovely") is an aria from the 1791 opera Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, libretto by Emanuel Schikaneder. The aria comes from Act I, scene I of the opera. Prince Tamino has just been presented by the Three Ladies with an image of the princess Pamina, and falls instantly in love with her.

Obviously you were thinking of a KLR.

Mrs Jatz was bikeless, so he graciously gave her the new(ish) DR650 and downgraded himself to the Bimmer...

    The Mussolini bike.....?
It was just on loan from City Motorcycles while the Beemer got a service. Bloody good service from a good outfit. I'll go back definitely.

While the DR was/is a good bike, it just didn't "fit". I coulda farkled the hell out of it to try and make it right for me. But it's still like putting lipstick on a pig, at the end of the day it's still a pig.
....I had to give Mrs J the DR (after I crash tested it of course ) besides which... I accidentally sold her 350
