Did you get clipped on SH1 this morning?

in Wellington, about 500 meters before the ferry junction heading towards town (southbound)

If that was you, bloody good job in getting out the way of that chick, it certainly put the wind up me and I was only watching!

Anyway, I saw that you pulled over and she didn't so here's her license plate:

Take that to the cops and make a complaint. There is a bit of paper work to do, but at least the driver will get a visit from plod. Not withstanding that the rider that was clipped may not be a member of KB, he/she may also go to the cops and the two complaints can be linked.

When I saw the title I thought it may have been caused by a total f/wit in a blue BA Falcon. First time I came accross the clown was just under the Petone interchange when I was filtering past. Gave big angry blast on his horn and sort of moved in on me which I ignored, maybe I'd been a bit close and pissed him off, no biggy. Then this morning, just past the interchange, plenty of room for all, I'm following a VTR thou with a Fatboy with wide bars behind me. This fucken a-hole in the falcon swings at the guy in front, then me as we go past tootling melodiously each time. He then ensures there's nowhere near enough room for the bloke on the Harley to get between him and any other car.

yep you should definitely report that to the police, will definitely help out the rider because you don't get those details when you are focusing on staying upright!

Maybe the time has come to invest in something like this?

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Wasn't me - but got stuck behind a bike cop all the way into town - quite amusing when he pulled a couple on a GS1200 by the ferry terminal for some crazy lane splitting...
Better to keep quiet and have people think you're stupid than open your mouth and prove it!

    Another Welly Commuter

I come in from Kapiti each day, by far the majority of cagers are pretty good and open up the invisible lane - then you get the plonkers who think they can block you. This is where I would love to have cameras all round so I can pot the ones that are being stupid like the guy/gal who pulled out in front of me tonight at the plimmerton station. I could even dob in some of the enforcers , I follow them in on numerous occasions and none of them obey the indication rules at either of the roundabouts but I bet if I didn't indicate they would pull me up.

Do as I say not as I do is their motto me thinks.

I was just in front of the couple when I pass the bike cop, then 60sec later I heard the siren go off and thought oh f@%K, looked in the mirror and saw that he was after the couple I felt relieved but also annoyed that they got pinged.
I'm not saying let's go kill all the stupid people...I'm just saying let's remove all the warning labels and let the problem sort itself out.

Hi ya White Trash, (feels funny typing that)

Was that falcon, Blue print color? (Cyan?) if so, i think i had the same in-counter with this guy, i remember it happen last week, Thursday / Friday i was traveling out from Wellington to go home, and all i remember is this big fat blue print color car come speeding up to me, and then slow down fast, As there was noway he could move in the other lane, he was so close to my rear on my bike it feel like he was going to clip my back wheel, then the idiot tried to overtake me by trying to push his way through trying to get me to the left as far as i can go to over take me. (i was shit scared at that time cause he was aggro ) but i didn't give him chance too, then he when onto the lane at the gorge to go to the Hutt..

and hoping he got *Flashed* from a camera! =) ... but if i see the car again , i'll slow down get his number plate, pull over to the closest spot and note it down.....
