Yamaha Scorpio - Low km - Wellington

I bought this about 2 months ago I think.
It's pretty choice and cheap. I only put gas in it once when I bought it, haven't even hit reserve yet!

    Rundown:

    2008 (1 year wof's for the next 3 years 8) )
    3200km (not a typo)
    225cc single cylinder
    Electric and kick start
    Disc front Drum rear
    Wof and Reg til 5/2011

I'm the 2nd owner, dude I bought it off stacked the front or something because he's replaced the head light, dash cluster, handle bars and mirrors with aftermarket stuff. It's got a digital dash now, Acerbis headlight (funky) and nicer handle bars and mirrors, looks a bit meaner than it really is. there's no damage elsewhere other than a scrape on the exhaust shield thing

Great bike with plenty of go, suitable as a commuter but with enough grunt to get you up hills at the speed limit and some in reserve I've had it up to 130 something according to the speedo. Nothing worse than a bike that can't break the speed limit!

Anyway I need to sell sell sell as I'm going to aus and my mrs needs a visa to enter because she's a brit  meaning this money will be going straight to the Australian Govt.

    $2000ono

Can have my helmet, it's about 8 years old and has seen better days but it'll get you started.

Super easy to ride, perfect for learners. I've got the service manual on PDF file as well.

Will give it a oil change and new filter before sale.

I also have a 1972 CB125s in good condition (reg on hold due to non use but runs/rides fine) PM if interested.

And finished if you need to rely on it

sounds like it's still got original gas in it - unlikely the tyres have worn out

Those original ones don't - they're made of wood. With a similar grip level.

A lot of people throw the standard ones away. The photos appear to be the OEM hoops anyway

Gas ain't original, Like I said I've only had it two months.
Yeah tyres are original and they are not confidence inspiring at all.

They are fine for going from A to B though.

Yup, not complaining too much at the moment as it's my sole transport. Still on that second tank!

Have had a few bites but nobody really keen just yet. This is by far the best deal for a scorpio I can find as I'm looking at others being advertised to make sure my prices are as loud and obnoxious like the ones in harvey norman ads.

BUY ME - preferably just before I leave. I'm sitting my restricted licence on this on january the 5th
