F3 is aiming to be in country begining 2012 and priced competitively... right up until you drop it.

Going for the 675R instead as that will be here shortly and atleast I know what will fall off on that and can ducktape it up befroe it does

65k suggests you're correct. At least the loser cruiser still goes.

you could nearly rebuild the sporty for what they want for the MV alternator.

Funnily enough, the sporty gearbox was cheaper AND it works!

Still looking forward to seeing this in the flesh... is it still coming out this year? If so, any likely to hit our shores this year?

Hope they're building a bad arse F4 replacement to fight it out in WSBK....

Sort of like "Nuts and bolts in a blender" is the way I've heard them describe MV engines.

UK pricing looks sharp. This from MCN today.

"As expected, the F3 sportster – a direct rival for the Triumph 675 Daytona and Daytona R, is priced at £9999 and will become available in February next year. MV has also confirmed the bike will produce 130bhp. Triumph’s Daytona 675 R currently costs an identical £9999".

High class Italian flair (and unknown relaibility) for the same price as the Daytona, that will be atough decision for buyers.

Wonder what the price will be when it reaches NZ
