Oh yeah!
Tents rock!
All the fours, forty four.
Looks like I need to go buy a (new) tent![]()
For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round
I've got some replacement pole bits in the garage somewhere, otherwise you can borrow the plug spanner for the van again.
Our bloody tent poles got broken in the wind of Taupo!
Lucky we're bucket racers which means that we have an endless supply of duct tape!

The dates are marked on the calender. Tyler will be racing and I will be if I have med clearance and my licence back.............. and a bike ready

Other half has asked if I will pop up for the Tokoroa weekend with him.
What I need to know is:
How much is entry etc? Can we camp at the track? Are there actual toilets anywhere?
Anything else you can tell of interest that might seal the deal?

Okay, absolutely no idea about amenities, but all the tracks I've been to so far have had toilets. No idea where the heck this Toke track even is, but hopefully we'll find it this time (and that's what the stupid slapper GPS is for, I failed miserably at navigation so got fired - yeehah).
Now, as to sealing the deal for you coming up. You can watch and wonder how anyone could possibly be as slow as me, see some close racing at different stages of the racing, watch people fall off, and possibly even participate in the skate challenge at night. Oh, I've bought port, so port on the corner's on. You can even take my bike out at some stage for a wobble (Will does have first dibs on riding my bike whenever I'm not, but I'm sure we can sort something out, if you haven't tried and aren't totally anti).
There is a proper campground somewhere nearby, but after staying there about 6 years ago, it's not one I'd recommend - they do a B&B as well as the campground, sorry, I ain't going there for the breakfast ewwww
Now, are you coming? We need more Wellingtonians (can't believe I'm saying that). We also definitely need more than 2 HB riders (that's even scarier) or it'll end up being an away Auckland round (so long as most of who have said are coming, actually turn up this time - slackers).
Hey it was raining last time, some of us aren't allowed out when its raining. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
