Hey, I'm going to do a road ride (see the link about in TA's post) leaving the Belfast Tavern aka The Peg at 10.30, this ride might be cut short depending on road conditions so if it is I'd be keen to go for a potter about after, come along and we'll see what happens

Fuzzg thanks for the offer but that's a lot of road for me on a exc 525 with enduro tyres think I'll go port levy direction do some gravel but I'm sure we'll hook up soon

Jarvis87 the 300km CCC loop adventure on ANZAC Day is one you will probably enjoy.
Big portion of that is unsealed seal from Gravel road to potentially muddy farm track with some good scenery too.

Watch out for slips etc out Port Levy way, I'm sure you'll have fun.

Let me know what the roads are like out Port Levy direction because I might go out that way on Monday

Meeting point Rangiora, Lineside Rd, the first Petrol Station by McDonalds 10am and depart 10:30 as long as the weather hold

Yes the Forecast for Friday is High cloud northerly, afternoon southwest with evening showers and Saturday is Fine, Light winds.
But then there predictions have been so bad they were changing hourly and they still didn't get it right, it's better to look out the door and decide for yourself and I'd like to think I'll be home before the Weather turns to crap.
But will keep an eye on it.

there is a post on facebook about some that lost a fender bag full of tool at the waimak on the weekend if anyone found it
