Ah yes that was a bugger I didn't have the right size, will have heaps soon, mind you it is funny that you had a wee short out in the water, just as well they are only twelve volts, you would want 230 volts or you glow in the dark

Always keen, just a matter of timing on the day so we wait and see. Avon City's next ADV is due the following Saturday, rumoured to likely be Banks Peninsula stuff.

This link should do it. Not likely to be on again next year, surprised it was on again this year. Forrest about to be deforested for logging. Anyone who hasn't done that ride has probably missed their chance until the logging is done and it grows back.

My camera was pointing a little low this year so I have too much handlebar and not much horizon bugger it.

not too sure on the current access to the waimak on the south side so was thinking of going in at weedons ross road and coming out at the gorge bridge, sheffield for a pie and springfield for fuel then off to lake lyndon. go up one side of lake coleridge until we decide to turn back then have a look at the otherside. i have no idea where we went last time on the way back so could back track or someone that knows a decent route can show us the way

yes i think i can make it at this stage. My wet feet were bloody cold when i got home Saturday ( no electric socks ) bugger

It would be hard taking bigger bikes in at weedens ross rd. Its all shut off to keep bikes out, but doesn't stop us. Best bet would be intake rd

Day off tomorrow, trying out one of those lithium iorn batteries in the WR, might do that out there if I don't go for a kayak paddle instead. DAS is charging up my old battery to load test it when done.

there is a gap big enough to get a bwm thru - or if it has saddle bags as well just ride over the judder bars at the gate. was ok last monday unless its changed since

did you have your electric socks, pants, vest and handwarmers plugged in at dalethorpe?

Last year the bike survived the Hot Grips running and multiple falls on an Enduro section, this year all extras were at home and the grips off. It was a warm day, no more room in my bag as that's where my jacket ended up too.

don't know of any judder bars at weedens ross rd, I've been there heaps on WR. Think I'll just follow you and learn a new way in.

ha ha, 2 sets of judderbars, one may be gated now but the second was fully open a couple of weeks ago.... down at the river end of the road, at the actual river.
