No route planned, I'm testing a rear tyre for Linton so I was just thinking about a nice relaxed cruise somewhere doing gravel roads.

I'd be keen, just need to find a babysitter for the day as the Mrs is otherwise engaged... What time and where you guys setting off from?... Assuming you don't mind some L plates tagging along??

The L plate smashed off on my first ride on gravel of course, haven't replaced it yet

Well since we can't come up with a plan Dean says.....

10am bp linwood. Through the tunnel, round the bay, over the hills and far away. Lunch will be a picnic up the hill somewhere.
That's a meet at 10am depart not long after.

I say ok to that, but packed lunch is a bit scary.
mmmmm might pack a flask, cold toasty and an apple. Not so scary after all.

Sounds like a fine plan... Particularly the flask, cold toastys go okay too, no need to pimp them up.. cheese and marmite does the trick every time!

Always room for another rider, Wouldn't trust Metservice they don't know what the weather is doing until they've asked someone who walked in from outside.

If in doubt and worried about getting wet then pack your waterproofs just in case.
Every one is invited, if they weren't then we'd have arranged the ride offline and you simply would not know about it.
