Same, I'll need to stop on the way to the Peg, not going to help me be on time but I'll try.

It's a nice idea, I'd like to go but getting an actual week off then is a bit tricky, taking a day each side of a weekend is a lot easier... but it's a mid week/all week kind of thing.
Eddieb's videos etc on it from earlier this year made it look good.

I'll be there (at the Peg that is).

Aw c'mon Col, if I can haul my ass out of bed and ride there on second hand, bald tyres then so can you

Having said that, it might be an idea to check the weather in the morning, that rain was pretty short lived out here but I heard it was more ferocious slightly to the north. Don't really wanna get stuck in mud for the second weekend in a row

had a great day - had to bail when we got to the next hilly bit with wet grass. Avon distanzias arent the best tyre if you want to move forward

who is this sitting down on the track???? missed most of the evidence - need a helmet mount i thinkClick image for larger version.

Cynna, you missed the best part! Trees across the track and very very soft mud. I got 'painted' by the other Tenere when I accidentally strayed into the roost zone . Brilliant ride, thanks for jacking it up Shoshoni, and thanks to the others for a great day.
    Cheers

Yeah, great ride guys, one of the most fun 'Adventure' rides for some time.
Trees down area was a bit of a novelty.
A little less wind approaching Cheviot and it would have been pretty perfect. I loved the mud with my wee bike setup and loved watching everyone else spinning spinning spinning.
I really expected to be helping others picking up bikes so well done everyone.

I can definitely vouch for those Airhawk cushions, cheers TA for the loaner, reckon it literally saved my ass

Hopefully have some great footage too, all 35 gigs of it, eek! Will sort it over the next age, think there's some good stuff of the bigger bikes having fun in the mud. You guys have mucho grande cahunas!

Mwahaha! Great ride today cheers to all for all the shits and giggles. Great fun all the greasy stuff and trees n all. Great scenery through the hills and by gore bay with the wind whipping up the surf! Spectacular to see all the storm damage in the forested areas. I look for to seeing some of the footage. Was a pleasure to reacquaint with somes I'd meet at dusty butt and put a few more faces to names too.
