    It's my new favourite track!
If you flick me a txt a bit before you go I might join you.
Not a total favourite of mine but one of the more challenging climbs around here.

Definitely keen to go again. I went the other day on the way home, almost came a cropper a couple of times. Good fun!

Anyone off work and free for a ride this week (04-08Mar)?
I'm on leave so pretty flexible as long as I'm home by 1500 to pick kids up from school
Was thinking Bossu rd and over to Wainui then home thru Port Levy

Last chance for Molsworth on Monday (11th March 2013), it's closing early for fire risk this year.
Looks like I'll be doing it Monday with a couple of 'newish to gravel' riders (just to say something about the possible pace if anyone else is interested).
Coming back mostly via SH1 is 'plan A'.
If we have time, nice weather and they have the energy I might try get us up Mt Altimarlock for the view.

You know I really don't know why you are even asking.... of course you can go, wouldn't have posted if I/we were committed to going it alone.
Meeting or should I say departing Woodend BP @ 6:30am Monday.
    Breakfast pie at Hanmer.

The others just said the more the merrier (instant messenger thing going on).

I might take the WR (better fuel economy), could be tempted to backtrack Molesworth home or do the Rainbow instead of SHW1. Will decide up Blenheim end though I think the others might still do SHW1.

I could be tempted to tag along also since I'm back up and running.

Cool. The birdman has confirmed too. I'm pretty certain it'll be the WR for me, it's rumoured another one will be along making it 2 WRR's, a DR650 (2 if you come), a Tenere and a Transalp.
Stopping for a bite to eat (another pie for me) and gas at Hanmer.

Had a great ride yesterday, started out foggy in places then when we got over Jollies Pass weather couldn't have been better Molesworth Rd was easy riding very and little traffic.
Except for the ride home by the coast I was getting blown around, then rain. Hope everyone else made it back alright, I got back just after 6pm.

Really enjoyed the day, not only because it was much better than my usual working on a Monday.
Few Pics from my old dunga cell phone from up Mt Altimarlock.
The views up there really do blow the rest of the Molesworth stuff out of the water, bit colder up there though.
I got home 7:30pm after the birdman and I stopped for a hot chocky and add layers at Kaikoura.

Yeah it did Josh!. You wouldn't know it from TA's pics but it was an absolutely glorious day in the Molesworth. Shoshoni crosses the bridge at the Acheron Accomodation House.
