Lower North Island Ride

After chanceyy's birthday ride decided we needed to do something more often. And somewhere along the way I think I volunteered to organise the next one -- so here goes

When :- Sat 26 Feb
Where:- >lake ferry for lunch / chin wag
Route / Time:- Assuming a number of persons starting at PNorth 9:00 > Levin 9:30>Picock hill>Rimutaka’s11:00>Featherston 11:30 >western lake road>Lake Ferry>backroad Martinbourgh> Masterton>Pahiatua track.
Notes:-
Have no idea what is at lake ferry may or may not be a fish and chip shop or a hotel, could be a case of pack your cucumber sandwiches and thermos.
Pick up any WGTN people in U/hutt – service station base of the Rimutaka’s, and Wairapa people in Featherston – the turn off at the south end of town.
People can link up and break off at their leisure

they make a mean burger at lake ferry as well as fish n chips and wedges, hot drinks as well as beverages available too

POSTPONED due to high winds especially across the rimutaka's and more shit weather on its way. New date to be advised.
