Wilson has 48 parks in the CBD , and in the past it's free motorcycle parking if you "find a gap". I don;t think you'll be put out that much, more a case of having to find new parks.

Or you could take the car in......

Hopefully they don't catch on and decide to do the same .

Just spent about 20min on the phone with Tournament, the gist of it is that it's always been in their terms and conditions for motorcycles to pay and that its just more recently they've planned to enforce it. You can park there at the discounted rate of $50/month or $75/month across multiple carpark buildings and the space allocated will be a motorcycle spot, casual parking will be charged at the same rate as for a car but it is a per vehicle charge not per park and you're welcome to take a car place.

They have no interest in putting up signage to alert casual parkers to the change (& difference to other parking buildings) instead you'll be slapped with a $45? fee for non compliance. They have no interest in giving first time offenders a warning, instead they're quite happy to hit you in the wallet you've been "getting away without paying for long enough".

They suggest we purchase holders similar to those for wof/rego with padlocks to display the casual parking tickets

Also spoke with wilsons, they don't charge and have no plans to. The only condition is you stay to the corners/unused space and don't take paying car spots.

Hmm, should I ring him back as looking at the Terms and Conditions (apparently these are only for account holders), motorcycles aren't accounted for...

33.1.8. “Vehicle” means a passenger car in the ordinary sense of the word, and includes a station wagon, van, ute or four wheel drive vehicle, and includes any accessories or contents of such a motor vehicle. The term does not include a light or heavy truck, a trailer, a caravan or a motorbike

You folks could take a leaf out of notobiketax and role up one day at their entrance and charge them to enter their building
