i think your enthusiam is overcoming reality a win is worth 25 points whilst 5th gets 11,so there is only 28 points gain over that scenario

Yeah...goes to show you that modern electronics that have made racing a tad boring aren't really the be all and end all eh?

Can't agree Pete, all electronics are doing is making these bikes easier to ride for lesser talents.

No electrical help is going to save a front-end washout.(except for an outrigger of somesort)god help us if that day ever comes about.

The real culprit is the one tyre rule...in one of Didjits links is mention of the fact that Bridgestone brought along tyres from malaysian tests in sepang???WTF tropical heat V's european conditions.Surely thay are taking the piss.

Bet you this shit would'nt be happening if another tyre supplier was present.

It's just another cost saving in the name of "progress" along with moto2/3 that is resulting in Dorna and it's minions turning the name of "GP's" into a joke.

    Think you missed my point.

That's exactly my point...electronics have made racing boring, and the riders can still very easily fuck themselves up on cold tyres etc.

i think the electronic even things out a bit,but its the same as other times, only the top 1 2 or 3 riders can actually ride on the edge.If you rely on the elctronics totally they seem to be slower than the guys who can ride right at the edge of where the electronics take over...
