So you'll be riding the street triple on Sunday then??? hahaha well once Tim's finished with it anyway
COngrats and see you Sunday....track day!!!![]()
Hehehe i wish. We can only insure one rider per bike for the track day... So not this time. I am torn between taking the triple out now vs relaxing and concentrating on kicking this crappy head cold before Sunday. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
WOOT!! Good on you!!
Was it hard?![]()
Some people think im bonkers.
Nah not hard, but the testing officer was a douchebag. The test seems to be more about making sure you know the road code than your ability to ride well. Making sure you're fully stopped at stop signs, indicating properly at roundabouts, etc etc. Which is bollox for those of us who have full car licence and have been driving for years and obviously have already proven they know the road code..This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Test is too easy and definitely doesn't qualify you for all the hazard and road conditions you need to be able to negotiate... But hey, I guess it's up to each individual to make sure they get the traini they think they need.
I understand they're about to swap the full the restricted tests so the restricted will be the 'harder' one with hazard identification. This, however, is only until October when a new licencing testing system will be introduced. As you say, the current one is useless and hopefully the new one will be at least a little more skills focused.
