    It's alive!

Went for first ride on my gixxer this morning, couple of glitches but overall very happy, the handling is sweet and smooth as is the box and everything works as it should but the tuning is lacking somewhat. I need to do a carb sync and see how that goes and also it seemed to starve itself at about 25km in. I had to flick it over to reserve which sorted it out. I put at least 8litres of fuel in so that doesn't seem right? However I also put an in line fuel filter on which may be restricting things a little.
Here are some pics. Still have the fairing to fit up.

The 750 always went well... You may want to check out the twilight zone of the BFTP group.

So what oil should I go for in me oil boiler?

I normally use Castrol Avtiv, that ok?

Any brand of filter better than others? It will be changed at each oil change.

Sweet. Thought so. Will be this weekend or next. Oil looks clean but the bikes new to me so will do one.

    God these motors are fun.

How much oil could an oil boiler boil if an oil boiler could boil oil?

Baby's first wash! Thinking of putting it in the NZ Classic Mbike show in Manukau August. Think it'll make the grade? Please be honest! It will have the fairing fitted by then except belly pan.

Mate, you could sit the fairing next to it just to show off the attention to detail, that thing is sex.

Fairing properly on now so only 2 things left to do, find somewhere to fit indicators and fit decals that MSTRS is making for me.
Oh and then clean and polish. Clean and polish. *sigh*
I think it will have a for sale sign on it too in the show and will be on Trade Me at the same time. Having 3 bikes to keep in working order is too much. Next project tho!

Looks great! Even on straight...let the drinking commence eh?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
