Sorry, not aware of a reseller. I bought my last Jardine muffler from the states.
Be aware though that Jardine + Buell = loud. Almost unpleasantly loud without the baffle.

okay thanks for the feedback, I will get the baffle plug with it

Are you happy with the exhaust - the buell muffler "shootout" (www.americansportbike.com/Exhaust_Shootout.html) test gave them a good write up in terms of reducing the drop in torque between 3-4.2k rpm, also look to be a bit better at top end over stock standard.

I hope it lasts longer than the one that was on the missus' ER6, the packing burnt out and blew apart in less than 1000 k's.

Which one did you buy, alloy or stainless steel one?

How hard would it be for a muffler shop to make a replica without stuffing up the exhaust dynamics that the Jardine is trying to optimise. I guess if it was easy, then everyone would be making there own

Who says we arent? It's a bit tricky and requires decent kit to get the welds sorted, and looking nice, so counts out most people's DIY. Neptune down in wellington do nice work, they may be able to sort you out.

Check out one of these . The Jardine does not really suit the Buell that well. This will be less $ , Kiwi made , real nice tone but not ungodly loud . Good build quality too. Google Adrenalin R .

Like you I tried to find a re-seller, but as far as I can tell there isn't one. Wellington Motorcycles are sorting mine out. Costs a small fortune but should be worth it.

cheers, thanks for the late feedback, i ended up having an exhaust specialist cut open the XB9 muffler. It had already been modified by an earlier owner, and had been modified with a straight through perforated pipe packed with the exhaust packing. So it was a simple weld and repack and weld the outer casing again. cheap outcome
