5 of us and some dogs in a sidechair, it was good and even got close enough to listen to and admire whatastoners CRF1000 Africa Twin for a bit of the ride.
We went up Dyres Pass to Governers Bay and around to Gebbies Pass over to regroup on Millers Road then the ChCh-Akaroa Rd to the Little River Pub. Food and BS then another pleasant cruise back in the dark arriving home about 9:15pm.

Slow is good for new riders and new bikes, seen far too many crash out of corners thinking they were better than they were, heck even did it myself.

Hmmm quite agree. Ask the troops about a certain corner on the summit road a few years ago. Windrow of pea gravel, sun strike, I had been trying not to fall too far behind SS but had slowed down. Poor old Nevada went one way, I wound up in the middle of the road, top box went in another direction. Ride was shortened and I have my zimmer frame(sidecar) complete with seeing eye dogs.

    PM Eurodave on here

    So.
Anybody out there for the later half of the years WNR's?
Weather forecast looks a bit drizzly/cloudy for this evening.
But we won't let that stop us. Will we?

I am going to try to do a couple of Wednesday night rides a month, but difficult due to work. Anyone going to the show this Sunday at the show grounds?

I rode most weekends during winter with the exception of about three of them due to weather. I got caught in snow a few weeks back which sucked, but otherwise I didn't have any issues and just stayed away from the alps.

I think most of Christchurch riders will be there
