Yes I understand being a "mangler" has it's rewards.
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

    Hi All,

Any tentative plans for this WNR at this stage? Got another appt' that I will juggle if the ride and the weather suit
Hope all those who have been over at the Woodstock had a blast... will never forget how much Mr T and I enjoyed the Pink Floyd cover band last time I was over there... they were awesome!

Hope to see you all on Wednesday!

I know this is a Wednesday night ride, but weather is supposed to be crap, tomorrow however is fine and high of 26. How are people fixed to bring it a day early? just a thought!

I haven't seen those guys in years even tho one of them must live just round the corner from me, I see their car with D&D advertising on it all the time ...
Where to indeed. I'm keen for anywhere but maybe not a long ride. Been thinking lots about while our group is not too big to go off exploring new places we haven't been to before. For example, every time I ride past Pegasus I'm really tempted to pop in and stare at all the strange people ...

As an idea, what about Dyers, round the summit road to Gebbies then round to the Gov Bay pub for a change?

That could be good, I'd be keen.

Definitely a starter for that route Pete, and yup Jen, more practice on the hills,
the summit road south end is good for it, narrow and winding, not a fast road, but a fun one.
Have not been to Gov Bay pub since before the quakes,

I'd be keen to ride Tuesday if the weather is expected to be bad on Wednesday. Shame to miss a ride.

In case you wonder why you're a moped rider, or why other people have some more imaginitive titles.....from the keyboard of Spankme....

The user titles work like so:
    Title minimum posts image rank
    L-Plate Rider 0
    Scooter boy 30
    Moped rider 60
    Fair weather rider 90
    Weekend cruiser 120
    Highway Biker 150

You're likely to get a lot of sunstrike going Dyers to Gebbies, how about BK, Halswell, Old TaiTap, Gebbies, Summit Rd, Dyers down to Governors Bay???????
And remember ...... if it hasn't got one of "Uncle Flip's" prosthetic kickers it isn't a real motorbike!!!

Ah true, didn't think of that . That sounds good tho I do find the Hallswall Tai Tap part a little dull, long straight roads and all that but whatever, am keen for whatever the masses are keen for.

I'm interested in a Tuesday ride so long as I remember to leave work early enough to pick the bike up.
