I'm keen to do akaroa and back along the summit rd to the Hilltop. Apparently it's an awesome rd. I think Brendon is keen also but obviously, majority rules!!!

When you get to the Hilltop take a moment to consider how low the sun is getting in the sky, it may be worth doing the Summit Rd to Akaroa and then main road back in order to minimise sunstrike on the top. Don't know, the sun may still be high enough not to worry you but worth a thought.
