    I was getting around 55mpg on the Norton 850 running a single Mikuni 34mm with a 280 main jet, have put in a 260 yesterday and will see how that goes.
    My Guzzi 850 LM with the close ratio box does better at around 62, and my other 850 LM with the long ratio box does even better still at around 67mpg which is surprising because it will not pull 5th until you are doing 120km/h so it was in 4th gear mostly. I tried my R90S the other day but it was so boring I lost interest and came home

    My GSXR750 gets about 16km per litre = 45mpg.

    Seriously though, my 81 GSX750E used to do about that, but the memory is a bit hazy.
