Is there anything else I should be checking?

I will be buying some chain oil this week too so I can oil the chain after every decent ride. Is there any type of chain oil recommended by anyone?
Spectro SX chain wax is awesome. I wouldn't call that a stall. Should do the oil and oil filter too, perhaps spark plugs and battery if you're feeling particularly pedantic. I always do this stuff with a new bike with unknown history.
