Textile pants I hate to wear

Hi guys
Here's the deal. I currently own, and hardly ever use my textile pants cause when i get off my bike they have pulled up around my bloody shins cause my boots are faily wide at the top. Are there any manufacturers of textile trou with adjustable leg bottoms you can recommend so i don't look such a dork when i hop off my bike.

Well, most bike shops have a selection. Mine are Revit and they have a zip and velcro closure at the bottom. Been to see 1tonne in Eltham yet?

I've always had huge difficulty with bike trousers too. I put it down to being on the lanky side but I recently tried several different types of textiles and they all bunched and slid around too much. In fact, I had to take the knee protection out of my kevlars to get them to fit while sitting on the bike If you sort it out, let me know what worked for you.

There's always the custom made option....

Ive got some Rjays ones. Crap, knee protection will not stay in place. Liner comes out the bottom of the legs.

Then I got some leather ones from Lifestyle imports. Fit right, armour stays in place. Mint. Will never go back.

I've got a pair of Ixon "Climbers" and find them very good. Slim fitting, as I hate baggy trousers and certainly have no issue with them riding up over top of my Sidi Vertigo boots. Knee armour stays in place and they have leg zip and velcro closure.

I only wear them a few times a year though, as I'm usually in leather.

You realise Rjays are the bottom of the barrel right?

I've got a set of Rev'it jacket and pants and they're great. They do short and long leg versions.
Will be buying again. I like the look of their new goretex lined ones.

Yes, which is why I bought the best I could. In leather.

Would have got Qmoto or simular if they could do them in my shape.

Otherwise, add gaiters...

You should be able to pick up a cheap pair from any outdoor store and they'll keep the pants in place and add another seal at the bottom of your legs.

I had textiles for a while... get rid of em and go leather much more practical

What kinda boots do you ride with? Racing style ones? Maybe try on some with a skinnier shin-plate...? My Ixon textile pants have adjustable length legs, you can fold the bottoms up inside the leg and button it up if so need be...
