Looking for a burn out location close to Wellington.

Hi, would anyone know of a location close to Wellington to practise tyre burn outs, the neighbours did'nt mind the first hour then the love faded, fair enough.

So I'm on the look out for another location, I have a concrete burn out pad and I am using a GSX 400.

What I need is legitimate permission/access to flat ground, grass is OK with some distance from joe public is important, burn out time would be between 10 am through to about midday either saturday or on a sunday weather dependent, I plan on repeating this practise over a number of months.

Sneaking down the back roads did cross my mind, but I'm trialling a new concept and require time to work through issues, hence the 2 hour burn time.

Maybe talk to the owners of the slipway?

The quieter it is less hassles you will have.

Can a burn out ever be compliant.

Had a chat with Ben from slipway, burn out testing should be ok at the slipway, as long as I can comply with Resource Consent noise level, just have to wait until the end of January 2012 to find out.

    Location: Slipway, Brooklyn

"Unfortunately due to resource consent issues, all events at the Slipway Circuit are postponed until further notice."

So I will continue the search, just in case the slipway............ slip slides away.

How can anyone afford the tyres for 2 hr burnouts?
Why do some pistons go up and down when your wheels go round and round?

Its not so much a " Burn out " its more akin to a " Smoulder Off " so there is more time required.

    why?

2hrs. Are you trying to burnout the tyre or spank it till the rims are 17inch for better tyre selection?

Has nobody told you videos are mandatory? Beat the shit out of the GSX till it cries oil and sneezes rods.
