Poor roads across most of NZ is a known factor that any rider should be allowing for.

Glad to see that everyone ended up [relatively] okay though. The first half of the video was a nice watch, made me want to damn the surgeon's instruction and pull the DRZ out for a spin.

Regardless of road surface it's got me fucked how two bikes can crash on what looks like a straight section of road

edit: actually I'd like to see a shot from up the road preceeding the "crap road"

Were the two that went down the lead bikes or had others already been across that section of road?

That looked like a really nasty corner.

I was wondering why it was called a chopper ride without any chopper motorcycles then i saw someone actually got choppered out

Loving the tag "race" on the video.

Bubba bikers tend to ride REAL close to each other. Road looked a bit sucky. Glad riders are ok.

One can only conclude that they were attempting to ride wheel-to-wheel like they saw on Sons of Anarchy, and that there was fail.
