    Well, just about to walk out the door. We're off!

    Planned route is
    Afternoon 1: Picton-Nelson-Takaka-Motueka
    Day 2: Motueka-Takaka-Westport
    Day 3: Westport-Hamner springs or close
    Day 4: Hamner springs - Picton via Nelson

    That way we avoid the boring SH1 and the crooked cops in Kaikoura.

    enjoy man, TIE out there and... fark me man were you not listening, the only part of SH1 you would have taken if gone via the Kaik inland road (which is awesome) is so far from boring its not funny... BTW no crocked cops in Kaikoura, just a couple doing a farking good job in the Hunderlees nicking center line crossers, but then the inland rd misses that anyway.
