Suggestions on where to buy backrest for Honda 250 Magna?

    Hi all,

Just bought a Kymco Venox, a Taiwanese copy of the Honda 250 Magna. I'd like to buy some accessories for the Venox, namely a backrest and rack, and perhaps a light bar if available.

Whereabouts could I get such accessories?

    Thanks.

Backrests that fit a Honda Magna VF750C will fit the Magna VT250C

Same for a rear luggage rack.

Thanks but those prices are pretty expensive.

I've found a few bits and pieces on Ebay Aus but was wondering if there are any sellers here in NZ...

Those prices are not expensive. That is what you pay for that sort of thing.

    Have you tried google?

    Or...

Go to a shop and ask.

    Ahhh! But what shops?

I'm hardly familiar with any, especially those that may carry stuff for cruisers and the Magna... Any names to recommend?

Most shops will "get back to you", and see what they can order.

Things I've seen common to shelves are limited to mirrors, indicators, grips, stock parts removed off a bike that's been customized in their workshop, and commonly swapped parts like stock Harley derby covers for one of the ones with a design on them.

Find someone with a Magna, 250 or 750, and see if theirs fit?

After some research, it's clear that anything that fits a Honda Magna (250 or 750) will fit the Venox. The two Magnas shared bodies and frames, just different engines and exhausts... (Now I know what I'll be getting when I get my full! Oh yeah! )

I've emailed some shops but no response from them so far, probably because of the holiday season. I'll try them again in a few days once they're fully back up to speed...

Unless its a generic "universal fit" sissy bar, Magna specific backrests will cost more from a dealer than if you ordered one from the above links.

The 750 magna is a bit different from the 250 but share some of the same dimensions.

Here's some photos of the magnas I have owned. Enjoy.
