    My first - 1996 SRV

Been a while since I last posted here but I managed to sort out my s*** and get a bike!

An absolute dream to ride around town, just enough power to keep me out of trouble. Rode her out to Piha and back last week which was probably the most fun I've ever had!

Hopefully the weather will clear up around here so I can keep learning, especially since I have sold my car and need to get to work every day...

I wasn't too sure about the color, have been mulling over re-spray options. The only wet weather gear I have is a jacket so I will be catching the bus if it stays like this!

mate if it's now your only transport? I would strongly suggest a set of decent jacet, trousers and gloves. Even if you surf tardme for s/hand options. It'll make the riding a more pleasant experience, especialy when inclement.

I've got a DRIRIDER jacket and a sweet pair of gloves, I need to get my hands (or feet) on a decent pair of boots an some waterproof pants.

I did make the rash decision to sell my car, what the point paying two lots of registration?

I rode one a few years ago, they are very cool bikes!
    Enjoy it and stay safe!
