    Ducati narrow case tank

Anyone know of any stock Ducati narrowcase single tanks floating around unwanted?

I've given up trying to find an original Mark 3/Diana/Mach 1 style tank as they appear to be rarer than the proverbial hens teeth so I'm thinking about doing something else with it, maybe a scrambler?

    Anything...anyone...?

Why have you given up ? Are you hooked in to the local Ducati network ? I did a mach 1 restoration for a ChCh guy about 5 years ago and between ebay and local contacts we found everything needed.
If all else fails - or to get it running while you look, try Dave Sewell - Eurodave on here - I'm pretty sure he's got moulds for at least one tank which will fit.

Cheers, I'll send Eurodave a PM. Mine should take the same tank as a Mach 1. The Mark 3 essentially looks the same but has standard bars instead of clipons. I've been onto the local Ducati network, had dinner with the president a few times even but no joy. I've been trailing Ebay Aus, US, UK, Germany, Italy for years and either there's no tanks around or my timing when looking sucks.

Yep, and Road & Race and Bevelheaven etc etc

There's a wide case Scrambler tank on Trade me thats tempting. Adapt the mounts and turn the bike into a scrambler.

So I contacted Eurodave and he just does twin stuff not the singles so I then decided to order a fibreglass 'Jellymould' reproduction tank from the states. No one seems to make repro tanks for my specific model bike but the Jellymould tank is used on several models of the same era with the same frame/motor etc.

Before doing that I had one last look on ebay and whadyaknow, after all my bitching and moaning about how rare these tanks are there's 2 of them listed on the same day. I managed to win the auction for one of them so that will shortly be winging it's way over to NZ to take up residence on the bike.
