New Cr85 ignition fitted and a little porting should help the TF
I have a rear shock for the CBR but will have to weld in a new mount
Tokoroa.. Can we camp Friday and Sunday night ??
PM Steve, and while you are at it ask him what time kick off is on Saturday. We're planning on heading down sat morning to make managing the cat a bit easier. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Careful as you go. Remember everything is working together, changing your ignition timing will effect EGT, changing exhaust port timing may put it out of sync with the expansion chamber etc etc. Best to measure up the current setup to understand what you can work on.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Nah up the compression and polish the ports
ps saw your dyno curve some time back, it looked good for kart tracks. Im aiming for a similar curve but with better over rev.
if you're not running at least 204 deg on the ex then yer a pussy.

Cheers Steve...Port timing is very tame so just give it a nudge ...Yes the Dyno curve is ok as you say but drops off like a stone and am hoping the ignition will sort that ,lets see !!

Damn, I've been filing for two weeks now and I'm only at 202.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Guess I'll keep going, nothing good on telly anyway...
All the fours, forty four.
Nah its Tokoroa weekend. Te Puke is same weekend as Seafeild Road Hillclimb(15mins from home). Seafeild Road was a blast on my Supermotard last time, so we'll see. I will be dusting off the bike for the GP, it still has the wet rear on from the last GP, havent touched it since then. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Just drill some holes part way up the barrel & connect the dots, that should get it done quicker. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
