Knowing nothing about the TT course or suspension, I would still hazzard a guess that being a bunch of streets, as opposed to a smooth race track, they would have the suspension softer and more compliant to deal with the bumps otherwise the bike would be uncontrollable.
Flip side of that is bottoming things out... perhaps they need dual sport bikes for longer travel suspension![]()
