Thanks mate but, no, they are different, the early 640 pegs are narrower with different fitting. I' have one on the way from the states anyway.

Yeah thanks to Nordieboy and his extensive forestry contacts we got past the locked gate with a minimum of fuss . Was a cool trip over the top, very dusty on the way out tho. Had a stop at peloris for refreshments then off to picton to load the bikes in the van for the journey north.
