Interesting that the cops don't give a flying about whether you display or not. I have been pulled over several times on my current bike where the rego and wof is under the seat, and never even come up in conversation. They don't care. Ironically the people that do care are not doing so from a safety perspective, they are just money grubbing cunce. With a capitol C.
    cunCe? Has a certain 'appeal'...

you must be very nice to the police when stoped because they will ticket you for having the rego & warrent under the seat even if it current or not. the ticket is for failing to display, and you can even get this for having the rego & warrent in a hard to see place ie stuck to the back of the number plate and then covered in chain lube or even down on the swing arm if obscured by footrest hangers.
Of course you have a point but, when the popo give you the beckon, they will have ascertained that you have rego and or wof before they get out of their car. You would have to be a real awkward bastard before they would ever ticket you for failing to display on your bike I suspect.

As per the letter of the law your reg warrant should be bolted to the bike on the same face as the number plate so that the number plate reg/wof can all be viewed by the officer at the same time without them having to walk all round the bike. most police are not this anal and realise that on some moden sport bikes this is not easily achived. I have personaly seen a ticket written for reg/wof not displayed (where under the seat and both current) the cop stopped the two of us for a quick chat (where just over the speed limit) and my friend did not know when to shut up so he got the ticket. So yes you normaly have to be a dick head to get a ticket for this.

    please.
registration plate and licence to operate vehicle on the road are two different things.
    When will you people learn
the reg is always displayed when you have a registration plate fitted to the rear of your bike.
its the positioning of the licence and wof that you need to ensure is in the right place
If it doesn't have an engine, it's not a sport, it's only a game
