Goggle recommendation - less sweat or fog

Hi all,

I've had enough of my current Thor Heros, single layer foam basically absorbs sweat and drips back into my eyes, plus they're terrible for fogging up during winter as I'm a hot blooded rider.

It would appear tripple layer foam and vents are key to solving the above issues. Any particular recommendations?

for no fogging, the twin pain lens is the ultimate answer, very good,

as for others, see what fits your head and helmet better, try a few on, all of the more expensive ones have the triple foam and it is better for sweat, all goggle foam breaks down after a while and gets worse at holding the sweat,

i like the oakley o frames, and try some newer shapes but still go back to those,

These have a flap you open up which allow airflow in the top, got a couple of pairs, but have not ridden in foggy conditions yet.

X2 Oakley's for me,i've tried heaps and always go back to Oakley's......got all the boys that i ride with into them as well............for the record i had some Thor and reckon they were the worst.....i sweat bucket loads as well

What a great pair of goggles they are! never fog up and never have a problem with sweat(And I sweat like crazy when I ride).

You could also try the, evs no sweat beanie as well no sweat will ever drip on to the goggles or your eyes again, the only downside I found was they give me a huge headache and leave a big dent in your forhead from the elastic.

I am using Progrip 3450s and they are really good re not fogging where the key seems to be that they need be to fitting against your face when your helmet is on

I had the same issues, my Thors fogged up almost instantly if I was hot.
I tried a set of progrips a mate lent me to try and could not get them to fog up at all, as in I left them on all the time including during the stops, they did not fog up once / it was weird not having to take them off as soon as you come to a stop.
I couldnt get a set the same, but I ended up with some oakley's from Scotts outfit, which are not quite as good but very very close.
I also worn Dales Spy's a few times and they are also excellent.
So IMO from my very limited experience
Progrip or Oakley or Spy

If you look at how they breathe, the dearer ones have a quite differnt type of seal across the top of the frame, which lets air out.
The cheaper ones just plain dont breathe also make sure you try them with the same helmet you wear as the way the fit in the helmet is also important.

What a silly name for a goggle; ProGrip. Obviously they make good grips, but. . . anyway I replaced my okish Scotts with ProGrip goggles for some unknown reason & they were like soo much better. more comfy - everything.

I also use a quik-strap which is good for when you stop. Haven't seen them in NZ for a while.

Got some of those from BTO sports in the states a couple of years ago.

I find them bloody awful the flap never stays open with your helmet moving above and they fog like crazy even with the vent open everytime you stop.

You reckon? They fog just looking at them, the foam is pretty average, and unless you pull the thick foam out of the vents, they dont vent very well. Are you sure they are enemys?
It's not a goggle I would recommend for staying clear.
