    Talking BHS tips for tonight?

    Hey yall,

finally sitting my BHS tonight...... Its raining though.

Will this make a difference? will it be more difficult?

    any tips?

Ive never ridden in the rain, so I'm kinda nervous.

    Cheers,

    Monk

It was alternately rainy and sunny when I did mine

Just ignore it and focus on what you have to do, on a BHS your not really doing anything extreme enough to have it make a difference

If you were doing something like this, then maybe

it shouldn't make a lot of difference
the bhs doesn't exactly push the limits of traction.

it would be wise to remember to pump the brakes lightly occasionally though, it will clear off the water
which makes life a lot easier when you need to stop suddenly
and you do, since that;s a part of the bhs.

Rain is part of motorcycling ... such is the reality of motorcycling.

Good comfortable wet gear ... and you'll be fine.

    It dried up alright,

and Chris at Safelearner, was the man.

The wind was up and the hardest part I found was coming to a stop and sitting there before putting your foot down.

but to go from, never having ridden a bike with gears, to being comfortable on a bike (up to 3rd gear) I feel it was actually money well spent. Not just another one of those useless courses.

    Cheers Chris.

Now off to finish my learners this weekend.
