    What other engines bolt right into honda gb400?

    I read the XR600 does. Im assuming GB500 will as well? Need a new motor to throw in there.

    NX650, XR/XL 600 and 500 or so I'm told.

    Any idea of certain generations that won't fit of those models?

    yeah don't fool yourself, there will be a lot of pissing around to get it to run right, if yer super lucky it will be restricted to jetting, but you could find all the ign, charging etc cannot be bolted on the other engine. Taller engine so pipes unlikely to fit & small anyway for another 200cc, any fittings, head stays. Electric start may not work, but they all failed on the 400 so you might not miss that, but will the kicker miss the pegs in the differnet chassis?


    I'm not saying don't do it, but be aware. As you might by the requirement of an LVV certificate as the engine is more than 15% mroe power, don't expect the WOF place will miss that.
